Phil Fox - Director/Writer

Phil was born the middle child of five in 1964 in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family moved to the small town of Mount Holly in 1971. Growing up in the sixties and seventies. His major influence came from watching and studying Black and White movies and T.V shows, especially comedies. In school he was always in trouble as the class clown and used his humor to defuse tense situations.

Phil began his career as a certified diesel Technician for the military and private sectors. He also worked as a tractor-trailer driver as well as a Heating and Air technician. After two years in the heating and air trade, Phil branched out and opened his own company. Fifteen years later Fox Heating and Air has grown to be a highly successful company.

In 1997 Phil Fox decided to give the movie business a try as an actor. The first day he stepped onto a movie set he knew this was his business. Phil has worked as an Actor, Director and, Cameraman and now has added screen writing to his list of accomplishments. Phil’s camera work begins while in the military. He would film the crazy antics of his army peers with a 8mm and VHS camera and turned them into short comedy films. When Phil started, he immersed himself in acting, it was only a matter of time until he had to get behind the camera. When Phil is on movie sets he always finds himself drawn in behind the scenes, gleaning and soaking up all the information he can before he has to be back in front of the camera.

When Phil picked up lead camera for "The Actors Slate" the phone started to ring off the hook with offers for him to film other T.V shows and movies. He has never let anything get in his way of creating a successful show or film.
